Darren Falk, Fitness Manager

Darren is originally from Silver Lake where he participated in football, basketball and baseball. He then graduated from Cloud County Community College where he played baseball. He went on to graduate from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology – Exercise Science.  Darren is an IWA certified Senior Strength Trainer and a NCSF certified personal trainer.  He is also pursuing a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Washburn University.
He has worked in health and fitness in hospital-based settings as well as community fitness facilities. He has been promoting fitness for over 18 years in various capacities – personal training, exercise consulting, fitness testing, program developing, instructing, health promoting, etc. 
With regards to exercise, Darren’s strives to ensure that members have an environment that is not intimidating and that they are not made to feel inferior about what they can or can’t do. He has excellent skills for adapting exercise to an individual based on their own fitness level.
